The origin of the Christmas tree

Modern Christmas trees originated in Germany and gradually became popular around the world, becoming one of the most famous traditions in Christmas celebrations. Usually an evergreen plant such as a pine tree is put into the house or outdoors outside Christmas and decorated with Christmas lights and colored decorations. And put an angel or star on top of the tree. The Christmas tree is an evergreen tree decorated with eucalyptus or pine trees with lights and decorations as part of a Christmas celebration.

Just as Christmas originated from pagan customs, Christmas trees have a long history and become a common phenomenon in winter in many cultures.

The earliest Christmas tree
It is said that the Christmas tree first appeared in the Saturnia Festival in the middle of December in ancient Rome. The German missionary Nicholas used the vertical tree to worship the Holy Child in the 8th century. Later, the Germans used December 24 as the festival of Adam and Eve. At home, they placed the "park of paradise" symbolizing the Garden of Eden, hanging on the cookies representing the holy cake, symbolizing atonement; and candles and balls to symbolize Christ. In the 16th century, the Reformer Martin Luther designed a Christmas tree with candles and balls in his home for a starry Christmas night.

However, there is another saying in the West about the origin of Christmas trees: There is a kind-hearted peasant who, on Christmas Day, warmly entertained a wandering child. When they left, the child folded a branch and put it on the ground. Into the big tree, the child pointed at the tree and said to the peasant: "Every day, the tree is full of gifts and balls to repay your kindness." So, the Christmas tree that people see today always has small gifts and ball.

At Christmas time, putting a Christmas tree at home will make the whole room full of pleasant atmosphere. Please follow the steps below to add a touch of festive atmosphere to your home.

  1. Connect the Christmas lights to the power supply. Before hanging the lantern, be sure to open it first to see if there is a broken bulb.

  2. Hang the lantern. Hang the lantern before hanging other decorations. Try to use LED lights because LED lights are slower. [1]
     - Surround method: first turn the lantern around the top of the tree, then circle it to the lowest end. A 1.8-meter-high tree requires about 6 strings of 100 bulbs. [2]
         a. At the beginning, you should first wrap around the top of the tree so that the stars at the top of the tree will shine.
         b. When winding the lantern, try to wrap the thread around the branch as much as possible.
     - Vertical winding method: The Christmas tree is divided into 3 parts, each part is individually decorated with colored lights.
         a. Start with the bottom of the tree, wind the lantern all the way to the top of the tree, and then wrap it down. Repeat the operation to fill the entire part.

3. Connect an extension cable to the lantern and connect it to the power supply.
